This photo was taken at Boca Chica Beach. if you are visiting Santo Domingo make sure you go to Boca Chica Beach. Boca Chica beach is in the outskirts of Santo Domingo, it is about 20 minutes from Santo Domingo and just 10 minutes from the Santo Domingo Las Americas airport. There is no beach in Santo Domingo, although it is located on the shore. The closest beach to the city of Santo Domingo is in Boca Chica. Boca Chica Beach is like a big swimming pool in the middle of the ocean.
