If all the other racism I see here isn't bad enough, let me add a dirty little secret.
The government has a racist policy against Americans.
Black or white, doesn't matter.
I have been there like 15 times, I even married a Dominican woman.
If she books a room, she pays one price, if I book a room as an American I pay more then double.
Extra taxes they say, yea AFTER I buy the tourist card.
Even though I love the island, I am not going back!!!

Domincans are pathetic some are dark as any haitian and saying they are not black.
You are also poor as all fuck yet look down on the haitiains because they are poorer and darker.
yet you come to american and try to pass as Puerto Ricans..I understand no country wants another to come and take overwhat little resources they have.
Does it make you feel whiter and better calling them Diablos Negros and Mal Pelo.

So sad...
And to think that the Haitians are fleeing Haiti to find a better life and they still can't find it. The Dominican Republic should be ashamed! Alot of Dominicans live here in the states and have children in the U.S. and their kids are U.S. citizens.
There is a voodoo against Haiti and I hope it lets up because Haitians are humble people and Haiti can be a beautiful country with just a little help.
